HO HO HO! SURPRISE SURPRISE!

i just like to vend my frustrauations out. that's all.

apparently left 3 more months to a's.
ain't comforting.
i dint know that for such a short period of time, many things can just take place.
i tell ya, all it takes is one month.

friday was the moment that i had a breakdown.
was stupid and silly when i think back.
but u've just gotta have these moments.
or i'll just crack.
no one knew, cept one.
i duno.
i dun want to appear weak.
silly thought.
but then agan, u cant actually blame on me.
who wants to appear weak when everybody is acting strong.
that's just my perception.

i m always telling people around not to be naive.
but i never take a good look at myself.
im actually the naive one.
to think that i always thought that i am a mature person.
a confident one, with enough air to even spur on the less confident ones.
yeah right.
who am i supposed to kid, myself i guess.
i thought i really knew me, but God has helped to self check and re-check.
i guess it only comes to this age when u finally understood things and can reason out yourself.
but then again, perhaps when i look back in the future, i will laugh heartily at this entry.
in fact, im proud that i was naive and now i know.

one month.
one month i took to prepare for my prelims.
one month i stayed at home, mugged my way through.
one month that i would say practically cut my relations with people.
wow.
i actually went into "hiding" that i planned to.
my agenda was to concentrate on one thing, and i did.
didnt actually got my expected results and worse still, had a great disappointment.
one month yeah, and i got a shock.
i wouldnt say im really sad... wouldnt be bothered bout it.
then something else i had to know that struck the final cord.
why?
why?
i have always look upon them from the begining of last year.
i always had that silent faith in all of us, that we are the best.
nothing could spoil the bond and we shall mug our way through and beat the highest record.
someone said that the higher your hopes are, the greater your disappointment.
how true.
and apparently, this skeptism and doubt and distrust within me is building.
Dear Lord, pls forgive me.
Erase whatever thoughts i have about them.
Prove me wrong Lord.

But honestly, i was proven right.
It was and is a facade.
I can't believe it.
That's the feeling i got and am getting
Distant distant.
It doesn't matter now.
I understand.
I am the way i am, its up to the rest.
Im true to who i am, i know. ha ha.
Im just sad.
terribly upset
and wonder why...

i intially thought of making my first entry of the year a happy one.
(apparently i haven't blog for like eons, i know...too lazy people...hehe.)
but i just have to blog.

gawd...i can so totally confirm to myself that im really the eldest at home.
in a way that is even older than both my parents.
i take it that im senior to them. like an old grandma.
yakking and nagging away.
total crap. but i can never feel this way more than ever.

let me sum up what has happened so far...

school's great actually ever since it started.
ignoring the fact that it feels as if it was like during the 2 weeks before promos exams.
all of us are like rushing through tutorials & assignments
and pacing ourselves constantly now for the syllabus.
thank God for the fact too that 23B is even more united than ever.
things are ok...i guess. must be grateful for everything that has happened.
orientation 08 was great, more than great actually.
Aztec won, both OGL camp thingy and J1.
many people to thank for this winning
especially the J1. nice people...really nice.
Izquitlan rules to the max cuz the people involved rock too much.
gosh...week 3's gonna be over...
and getting ready to expect more.

i so feel im a stereotypical teen,
those that u read in books and see on TV.
the one that has problems in studying
(not that i actually do but i face problems when i study!),
and has lots of emotional situations that seemed "all too hard to handle"
those that fight with their parents and feel like leaving home cuz of some "huge" matter...
those that are always facing the dilemmas of life,
of friendship, relationship and especially within herself.
eeww...but yah...
oh did i mention that i can aspire to be a marriage counsellor one day?
i don't mind...and prolly those high paid ones.
but the high pay is due to my high commitment ok...in bringing couples together again.
motto: if you can't stand one another, dun get married!
Dramas and movies from all sources round the world can really paint a pretty picture of those couples of total opposites living together and getting married in the end.
i love the romantic storylines...
but the catch is they don't show what happens after that...
and if they do, i don't know what ending can they come up with...
prolly living togther facing critial moments then found out they need each other and they die happily together?
okie...but what are the odds of a couple, complete opposites of each other, having a "happily ever after" ending in reality?
don't let me do the research and dig up the stats of divorce cases in S'pore.
don't let me start on the excuse that they give when divorcing.
why get married in the first place?!
sure, there'll be cases whereby "till death do us part" exist (which i think its plain sweet),
but then again, how assured can u be on your wedding day that it will happened?
oh the insecurities of the lady! oh the lust of men!

and i will not be surprise if the marriage counsellor is not married herself.
not that i don't wish to get married (which girl doesn't want to wear a wedding gown...lol, young girlish fantasy...), is prolly due to ....past mistakes made by people i know???!!!

i would have to say that i woke up on the wrong side of the bed today. it doesn't really seem right... im feeling awful. have to express myself first before heading back to PW stuff.

& we always end school late.

taking a breather here after some excruciating thinking for my econs essay

wow, got sick again.

i can't believe this.

i absolutely can't run properly and especially breathe properly.

i thot i will collapse on monday after running 2km for pe.

thank God i didn't.

i thank God for my life.

We had touch training on tuesday and ran suicides and other stuff.

it wasn't a tough training.

that was to them.

the sick one did not construe at all.

again i thot i would faint on the spot.

Advice to those who are sick:

DO NOT DO ANY STRAINEOUS EXERCISE AT ALL.

Especially RUNNING.

gosh, school's starting tmr!

i can't accept the fact.

i shall now take what is left of my "holiday'' to blog.

although it has started one week ago

i felt that since it was exam week,

Do It All For You was great yesterday!

My cell went out to the community

to give out free lemonade!

Well...actually it was lemon mixed with 7-up.

At night, went out with my mom to Marina Square for dinner.

TONIGHT WAS JUST COOL!!

Ceremix had met up to celebrate Candy's birthday.

mwuahaha, and we had planned it for her too.

This is how it went:

First we all met at DTE's bus stop

then headed for Rachel's house.

Why?

She had forgotten to bring the gifts for us

which she had bought in Japan.

It's a cute little rectangular bag!

really really cute.

and i got the RED one!!!

IT'S SO FETCHED!

initially our plan was to eat dinner at 5pm.

early....

but it was so as to keep our plan on track.

but when we went to Rach's house,

we all gathered in her room and started talking

and talking

and i forgot who was the person who said "we'd better go"

then it was when we started moving our butts

and headed to DTE for dinner.

our plan would have not been carried out...

then Rachel and Van tricked Candy saying they have to go home straight after dinner.

the rest n her lingered at Ben n Jerry's for a while

giving them time to head down to Pasir Ris Park to embark on their mission.

lol.

time to go PRP came and the rest of us along with Candy went to PRP

on the "excuse" of Vien that she felt like going to the maze.

then when arriving the destination,

we covered her eyes....you know....yarh....

it was just so hilarious.

and lo n behold, 126 lighted scented candles

arranged saying "happy bday!"

and a heart at the side with her present in the middle.

then birthday song plus cake.

it was really dark by the time we arrived

so the candles were like woah....really bright!

really nice.

then we entertained ourselves.

It was Candy's idea for all of us to make wishes using those candles.

So we took turns saying our wish and blowing out the candles.

ahh...just got back safely last night

missing the fun and the beach alr.

the new friends i made and the bonding session

plus the realm of spiritual bonding with God.

eh...not sure how to explain that.

but yeah.

I expected a breakthrough from this camp and thank God

i really did have it.

At first it didn't seem like it

but went for the altar call in the 2nd last day

and cried out to God.

It was just cool.

And am thankful for those who had prayed for me.

and God! He is simply just too amazing for words.

I got 2 testimonies btw!

First, i would like to thank God that He healed me completely for the bruise on my lips.

Aparrently i got hit by a frisbee

(hey, dun laugh, it's pain hor)

then i got this huge swell on my upper lip

i felt like i look like a gold fish

hahas

but within a day

yes A DAY

there was no swell on my lips anymore!

like gone, disappeared, vanished!

i would like to thank Anthony too for helping to get ice. ^^

Secondly, i would like to thank God for letting my group PATIENCE win!

i know it sounds dumb but ever since the year started, any group i am in

it is always getting last.

my friends can vouch.

so this is first group that i am in that won!

ahhhh!! hahasha!

i told God to break the "pattern" and yeah, prayed that we could get first.

and we did!

not to mention, my tribe got the best tribe award too!

It's not about the award we got, but I am really really really glad and touched

that you know, God ACTUALLY does hears my prayers and He is indeed there for me.

gosh...im on the verge of tears now.

It's simply wonderful.

Pastor Rachel's word did touch me too. Although i have to admit that i slept in between the sermons

i learnt a quite a lot from the word 'faith'

"Faith without actions is dead."

Plus, she taught has a simple way on how to complete reading your bible.

6 chapters per day, 2 chapters each from different sections.

Overall, felt really blessed.

and of course, I LOVE ZEBULUN AND PATIENCE!!

pretty hilarious but was just fantastic!

just got back from Rachel's chalet
at Pasir Ris Coasta sands.
everything had went to plan.
except the sleeping part.
a major problem.

Us Ceremix planned for Rachel's birthday celebration
since like last month
Gave her a surprise yesterday by inviting her other close friends too.
Well...not much of a surprise really.
Some wonderful people had to tell Rachel about it beforehand
and yupp
totally ruin the fun
HUGE bummer!!
Was pretty infuriating the moment when i heard someone had leak it out to her.
& on PURPOSE!!
But i managed to calm down
somehow
but at least she didn't knew the whole plan.

this is how it started:

We told the rest to hide in the 2nd floor,
leaving Cheryl, Vanessa, Merin and I to welcome her when she comes.
Meanwhile, Candy and Vivien went to pick her up.
They blindfolded her before entering
and when she entered
"POP" goes the party popper and
yeah..."happy birthday!"

(while waiting for Rach to come, it was so nerve-wreaking
that we nearly peed on our shorts. xP)

the funny thing was when we were like "happy birthday" and all
Rachel's contact lens dropped.
my mind was like "hmmm...what now? What now?!"
the rest were still waiting upstairs.
so yeah, rushed her to the toilet and let her do her stuff.
what an intermission.
kind of anti-climax but haha!
it was funny!

then after when she finally come out,
the rest slowly come out.
Sang the birthday song and popped the thing again.
hahas, and she cried!
Rachel cried.
Aww...so sweet.

Rach didnt expect was that we made her do a skit next.
Hahas!
Plain comical.
She had to act out whatever the narrator read.
So stuff like "she scratched her armpits" and "spasm in the head and arms" etc
we took it all down in the video.
But the best part was the ending when she was presented a crown
(n it's really a crown)
by the Prince
acted out by Yong Wei
after much persuasion.
Lol!!!

After that it was dinner and played twister after that.
Got to say that Choon Quan was super funny in that game.
Hahas. Censored. x))
Then we all went to do our own stuff
Free and easy i would call it.
Went cycling in the night with Yong Wei and Vivien.

oh, Ceremix then presented her our gift to her.
it was a collage with all our pics we took in the past years we have known each other.

since there were were about 21 odd people staying over
an amazing number
obviously 2 beds can't fit all.
some slept some didn't.
some slept in the bed some didn't.
some slept on the floor.
ok, i slept.
got myself a space in the beds as well.
felt bad.
feeling bad.
feeling VERY bad.

Rachel was really nice and "our mommy" to keep coming in to the room
covering us with the blanket.
but everytime she came in i know.
i woke up.
and woke up some other times as well.

Rach, i know ok.
And i wasn't sleep talking whenever i talked to you last night.

then yeah...got up this morning and rushed for home.
Soon later i gotta go my aunt's house to help her do some stuff.

Am still very slpy.
willing to suffer for the sake of the rest though.

I love my friends.

I just simply love shopping with Mom.
Went to Vivo with her and bro in the mid-afternoon.
Now i must grab every opportunity to go out with her.
Nowadays i hardly ever go out, thanks to the never ending tutorials and assignment.
So today's Easter, a chance to take a break, seized this opp. to kiakia with her.
Went to watch TMNT.
I still love those turtles.
Hahas. Cute stuff.

Date with Mom had to be cut short cuz' went to meet my classmates.
We went to LJS for a late lunch and then went to Paradiz for pool.
Stayed there and played for at least 4 hours.
By the time we went for dinner, it's already 9 plus pm.
But am so really disappointed with myself that i couldn't join them for dinner.
It was late, and yea, had to head home asap.
Felt really really bad.
It just feels wrong to me to leave half-way.

Seriously, i love my class. With crazy and fun-loving people around, school is so much less boring.
Thank God loads and millions for this class.

I love my class. However, i have to say though, our friendship is yet to be tested.

i try to make this short and sweet. have to return to write my P.I asap.

just had our 1 week of leadership camp.
fun fun fun!
Kayak, dragon boat, trek almost the whole of Ubin and sailed a self-built raft.
Plus! 200 plus jumping jacks, along with 50 over push up and crunches and a run for morning PT.
that...not fun.
But still, i manage to at least have a flat ab for the day. haks!
Campfire was the highlight of the camp.
Extremely cool.
The ODAC leaders were expert in leading i have to say.
learnt more new cheers.

we had seminars for the last 2 days.
learnt more about myself.
A sensing, extrovert, feeling and judging person.

Wow, it's been like a month since i blogged. Haks! I gotta warn you guys that it happens. Apologise for that.

Right now in the midst of the March hols. I should pop a champange and should celebrate this much needed break, but apparently my hols is jammed packed with activities. SYNERGIZE conference has taken half the hols. (FYI: which i totally don't mind at all.) I can't wait for it actually. I pray that there will be a break-thru in my life through this conference. Plus, SONICEFLOOD IS COMING! *screams* YAY!!! People, if last minute you would like come for the night concert (yes, there is a concert. for 3 whole nights!), just sms me. Tickets are sold for $7 only. Quite cheap mah...right... *giggles*

I really have to apologise to those that asked me out. I can't make it cuz of that conference. Am really sorry.

There's really nothing much exciting to talk about. Shan't bore you guys of the usual stuff.

Whoo hoo! I got my voice back, though a little hoarse. But still, i can talk! Finally. Thank God!!!

I really wonder why am i so free to be sitting in front of the comp and to be bloggin. I mean, like hello, it's CNY for crying out loud! I should be doing something constructive like err...i don't know, do what people in the past do on CNY. I just don't feel the mood for this festive occassion. As each year past it seems to get more and more dull. It just seem just like any other ordinary day. For obvious reasons, i'm back to where the screen sits.

I'm utterly bored. Bored beyond bored. Pray that tomorrow would be a better day. Not just a day of collecting hong baos only. More excitement please!

I COMPLETELY LOST MY VOICE!!! ARGH!

No thanks to the sore throat.
You guys out there must thank God for your sweet melodic voices and don't ever take granted for it. Really. And seriously. Especially those who loves to talk, like me! It's really a torture not being able to put forth my sentence smoothly without sounding like a toad. I'm sure i sound absolutely sexy with this deep, throaty, croaking and craking voice.

Before i get carried away about how "captivating" my voice is, i say, school today was kinda...interesting. After having a Chem lect and G.P lesson, we had a hamper wrapping session. Each class had to contribute a hamper, with whatever goodies we want to put in. The hamper are for the various organisations, e.g Salvation Army. We, the generous 23b, sure brought lots of yummy goodies for the hamper. Hahas.

OH! And i just want to (and i really do, badly) share what happened or rather, what did i said while we were wrapping. Lame-o me.

Scene: All of us girls, including Ms Yun, were surrounding the hamper. Gerald was the only guy with us.

Gerald: Mun Ling, you not hot ar? You still wear jacket...

Mun Ling: No luh...not hot. [she said something like that, i think]

Gerald: I'm like sweating lah, can...

And i couldn't help, just so couldn't hold the urge, so i truly madly deeply had to say this...

Sherry: Of course you're sweating ma! You're surrounded by hot girls what!!! Haks!

Ok, it may not sound as funny as it ought to be, but honestly, at that point of time, i cracked. Seriously, cracked. Lame, ok yea, i know. But hey, it WAS funny at that point of time. Gerald, you know (and it's the fact, haks!) you were surrounded by hotties. Whee-whu-wheet!

Met Gabriel, Serene and Elhannah for dinner at Tampines Mall. A mini cell gathering for us new members. Get-to-know session. Ahaha. Sadly, most of them couldn't make it, so in end left the four of us. We got pretty turned off by the sight of long queues of the different restaurants, so in the end we went to the food court. Okay, maybe cuz' the fact that I didn't want to wait. Whoops. Felt kinda bad though. Sorry Gab. Having dinner with them was great, but i had a 'slight' difficulty. The whole time i had to mouth whenever i spoke. Surprisingly, Gab knows how to lip-read! It's no surprise for El and Serene but Gab, wow. I thought guy can't lip-read. (No offence to any dudes out there.) Impressed. Hahas!

After dinner, we went to Hagen Daaz. Ate fondue. My goodness, HEAVENLY i tell you. But with no voice and a sore throat, it's WRONG to eat such angelic stuff. I clearly do know. But I can't resist. Who can? It's FONDUE! Totally amazing stuff.

The Fondue! See, who can resist this?!

And I'm still not having my voice back yet. Ok, my fault. Serves me right. Haks, but no regrets. Loving fondue.

Whooops. It's a little late now if im gonna say "happy valentine's!!!" Well. At least happy BELATED valentine's!

Was sick yesterday and all i could do after i came home from school was to lie in bed and sleep. Couldn't really get up and use the comp. So there were no "happy valentine's" entry yesterday from me. Ok, i gotta apollogise too for not sending any msges as well. My bad. But i gotta thank a a bunch of people that gave me v'day gifts, and of course those that wish me too. It did made my day. See, a non-attached person could also enjoy her day just the same as the attached. Haks! But it was a bummer that i had to be sick on a day like ytd. Sigh.

Truly indeed, i believe God has really placed His 'invincible' angels in our lives. It's one's choice whether to open our eyes and acknowledge them or to overlook a precious gift that we are given. So i thank God for His love and care in placing His angels in my life.

Feeling bummed today. It just struck me all of a sudden. It's definitely not PMS, neither is it my tantrum. oh well...be it results or other personal stuff...*shrugs*

It came that day like a dream. I felt as if i have never passed that day at all.
Received results just that Friday. My results was neither pleasant nor unpleasant. Good nor bad. Happy nor sad. Satisfied nor unsatisfied. Was extremely nervous when waiting for it to be released. I came up with this conclusion that receiving results was the most bad thing of all. For me. It just makes me feel...not good at all. It affects my mood. I will just become a huge loser just cuz' of it. I feel sucky about it. It's just a not good feeling luh. But it was a huge sigh of relief that it's finally over and I am able to get into a JC. Just like what Mr Neow had said, finally another hurdle passed.

After our results, Rachel, Candy, Cheryl, Merin, Vivien and I went to Sakae with Mrs See at DTE. We went for the 90 minutes buffet. It consists of any of the $1.90 dishes, inclusive of 2 types of udon and 6 types of dishes of tepanyaki. I just couldn't imagine that we ordered at least 9 different types, 6 plates of each type. Not to mention that we are ladies. But i still enjoyed the fiest. Hahs. I have to really thank Mrs. See that she paid the rest of the bill. It was not cheap. So the credit goes to her.

To be honest, I was pretty relunctant to go school ytd. Not cuz' i was lazy or i wasn't excited about it. In fact, i was excited. It just that i have this feeling of not knowing how to face my classmates. Embarrassed...yea...was so. Eventually, of course i went to school. Had to meet all those friends i invited. Can't just leave them in the lurch. But the day did turn out a little ok. Just a little. Dragged all my friends, BELOVED friends, to come to my class' booth to participate in the X-box "need for speed (most wanted)" competition. Hahas. It was quite exciting. I managed to do henna too. My first henna painting. Bought myself a rose with my remaining tix. It's now blooming quite nicely. Sigh...ya dah ya dah ya dah...that's about it for funfair.

I'm still feeling down. I don't know. I can't really think well with my current mood. It definitely affects the content of this and ya...u, the reader. Shall stop now for today.

My hair clip broke today!!! That is like so sad. It's like my favourite and it broke halfway! *sniff sniff*

(obviously there's nothing much to mention. The clip thing was the only thing "major". Boo hoo.)

Today, the usual and the norm. The kind where nobody would like to talk about it. So yea, pretty much it today.

I LOVE MY DAY TODAY!

We, the one and only, Ceremix had our outing today. Finally after what seemed like eons, the 7 of us met up. ALL 7 ! I tell u ok, it's really difficult to get 7, SEVEN, busy women to meet. And i mean really busy. I really miss the days when all of us in the canteen would just laugh at one another, crack really lame jokes, talk about stuff where it always get carried away to another topic at the end, giggle at some latest 'hot' news, ... Actually, i miss all the moments we had together. Ahh...friends, what would you do without them?

We managed to get a group ring. Yay! But guess what, we can only collect it on friday, the day we are going to receive our results. How sweet...yeah right! But still, yay for rings!

The day was really short. Van had to go home early and Cheryl and Vien had to go church. Awww...wish we had more time to talk and catch up. The part when we were at starbucks was great. Hahas. The chatting and lots of stories to tell. Muahaha. Too bad all ended fast.

Hopefully we can meet again. As in all 7. Luv u girls loads. <3

It's really odd why am I starting on a new blog. Before i know it, im abandoning this blog AGAIN. But oh well.

Weell, today went to Marina Square with a bunch of adorable people, namely my classmates. Anthea brought her friend along. It was great meeting him by the way. We first went to Swensen's for lunch. I thought I wouldn't regret ordering the brownie for dessert but i was so wrong. I was so full by the time it came! In the end i think i only ate $3 worth its value and the most of it ended up in Anthea and her friend's tummy. I have to thank her and him though. I felt so guilty for asking Anthea to help me finish my brownie. She ate more than what i ate and yea...Thanks Anthea!

Next, excluding the walking around part, we went to play pool. Love pool!!! Hahas. Gerald was good. In fact, everybody had some skills. Delene said she was lousy, was i sure about that. She wasn't at all, ok. I, on the other hand, apparently have some affinity with the white ball. It kept going in!!! But, in the end, we (tag-teamed with Gerald) won a few rounds. However, we lost to Shuhan and Louis. Gerald and I came up with a whacky conclusion that there was love in the midst that's why they won. Somehow i do think maybe it's true. ahhh...the power of love. Later, played the arcade and yea. Finally, went to meet Vivien and Cheryl!!! Hahas, shop a lil' while then we head for home.

I enjoyed myself. Im sure Dear Shuhan enjoyed herself even more. Hahas. Gotta play more pool. And ain't gonna embarrass myself again. Whoots. (:
